Inner City Pickle has not been keeping this site updated recently sorry. But then again, i have been rather busy.
Some of my products can now be purchased at Caesars Arms Farmshop in Creigau. Their own grown tomatoes now available in various chutnies along with a few other treats.
Hungry Planet in Clifton Street is also able to offer you a few goodies.
I can still be found at the Pontycymer Farmers Market on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Pontycymer Leisure Centre.
The new market in Central Cardiff ran successfully for a 12 week trial period with the final installment on 19th October.
I am hopeful that it will be allowed to continue once the 'powers that be' have examined its impact. I think that it was a great addition to the Castle Quarter and look forward to being able to offer my local produce locally to locals (and 45min drop-in tourists from Ohio. "Hope that your Church enjoyed the picallili you brought them back" ).
I met some lovely people over the 12 weeks and received some beautiful produce that was converted into exciting new combinations. Many thanks to Kevin and the INROADS STREET DRUGS PROJECT CARDIFF AND BARRY for their surplus crops that were reborn and appreciated. Thanks also to Ben, and to John, and to all those who have brought me their surplus crops and their empty jars (I am still recycling where possible but have needed to buy a number of brand new jars just to cope with the harvest excess).
My final outing for 2011 will be at the main Riverside Market on 23rd December. This is the first time I have been able to get a stall here but will hopefully not be the last :)
